2004 Pontiac Sunfire thermostat replacement uninstall
2004 Pontiac Sunfire L4-2, 2 L thermostat service and repair 2004 Pontiac Sunfire thermostat replacement 2004 Pontiac Sunfire uninstallation:
1. If equipped with an automatic transmission, remove the exhaust manifold.
2. The cooling system drain.
3. Remove the thermostat housing water pump feed pipe screws.
4. Remove the thermostat housing pump feed pipe water.
5. Remove the thermostat.
Installation procedure
1. Install the thermostat.
2. Install the thermostat housing pump feed pipe water.
Note: Precautions refer notice in the service connection element.
3. Install the thermostat housing bolt feed water pump pipe.
^ You pull the thermostat housing water pump feed pipe bolt 10 nm (18 inch lbs.).
(4) If equipped with an automatic transmission, you install the exhaust manifold.
5. Fill the cooling system.
