Training Guide Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America supplier
Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America (MCFA) has partnered with Ryder logistics to manage their inbound and outbound freight. MCFA users and suppliers will submit their orders for pickup by using either SUPPLIERNet or RyderEntry (a module Ryder online). RyderTrac, also a module Ryder online, will be used to track and trace loads in transit.
Process overview:
Suppliers will inform Ryder of orders available for pickup via SUPPLIERNet or RyderEntry. These two systems will allow suppliers to electronically communicate Ryder of orders that are ready to be picked up. Orders will be received by Ryder's i2 Transportation Management System, which will optimize shipments and create loading plans. Airlines will then be assigned and the relevant shipment information will be sent back to Ryder Online to track and trace purposes (i.e.: Pickup date, name of carrier).
RyderTrac auto-generates an email message to vendors who want to include a hyper-link to RyderTrac. This link will allow vendors to view their load details online (i.e.: Pickup date scheduled, carrier name, shipment details per load). RyderTrac updated electronic by airlines to give suppliers visibility of their shipments from pickup to delivery.
