Alfa Romeo 156 replacement brake Guide

The following procedure was written for a 1998 2.0 Twinspark with vented front discs, but it must be the same for all models of 156. The shape of the pads differ between Vented and the hard disks on the front. Newer models have larger rear discs and, therefore, different pads. This should not matter, unless we're talking standard brakes with a normal or perforated discs grooves with high-speed road pads — the process is the same. The only difference is that the front pads have wear indicator, so you will need to bind the cable back out of the way if necessary.
I wrote this in the order that replaced the brakes. It was the first, fronts, rears, and finally to bleed the system completely change the fluid. Remember that your new brakes will have to "Fitting in". This means not using the brakes hard for about 100 miles, or recommendations provided with pads. High performance washers often need special method. Also the bedding in the new pads on old disks may take a little longer, since they need to "wear" fit to the shape of the old disk. As with all the main work that your time, how will these later to work properly. You implement anything I forgot to do something, when you touch the brakes for the first time
